Dr. Summer Williamson

Optometrist

Dr. Summer Williamson is from Camdenton, Missouri and graduated with honors from Drury University with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Biology and a minor in Global Studies. She then earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry. After graduation, Dr. Williamson served in the United States Air Force at Little Rock Air Force Base for five years, achieving the rank of Major. She then moved back to Springfield and worked for a community health center, providing eye care in rural communities and schools.

When not in the office caring for her patients, Dr. Williamson enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, spending time outdoors, baking, and working out.

Dr. Williamson is a member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, and is an InfantSEE provider.
